Eco Friendly Outdoor Clothing | Patagonia

eco-friendly-Apolis-jacket-490Eco Friendly Clothing

This company is all about Eco friendly products.

They were the first Outdoor Clothing Manufacturer to adopt fleece into their product line made from post-consumer recycled plastic soda bottles.

That was in 1993 when “green” was not Eco style. Today they have a full line of quality nontoxic products that are Eco friendly, long-lasting and durable.

Select from a wide array of Eco friendly materials that you can feel good about wearing and using:

Organic cotton: A excellent line of high quality fibers, healthy on the skin, GMO-free and grown without synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or defoliants

Nontoxic Wool: Chlorine-free treated wool without the itching feeling. Has a lightweight weave that keeps you dry and comfortable. Select from merino, cashmere, lambswool and various blends

Nontoxic Hemp: Hand harvested and processed using no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Has a magnificent drape that is comparable to linen. One of the most durable natural fibers in the world

Recycled Polyester: Creates less air, water and soil contamination and is less dependent on oil. Recycles unusable second quality fabrics, worn out garments and soda bottles to produce many varieties of clothes such as Capilene baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece.

Recycled Nylon:  It uses no crude oil and reduces discards and incinerator emissions. Uses yarn collected from a spinning factory and post-industrial waste fiber to produce a lightweight woven nylon. Some lines have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that lasts considerably longer than standard DWRs.

Easy Search for Eco Friendly Items

Patagonia outdoorPatagonia’s site is beautiful and well-articulated. Although they have a vast amount of Eco friendly products it is quite easy to find what you need. If you have been searching the site for while then a non-obtrusive side box appears for the chat line asking if you would like help. I decided to accept their invitation. Their chat line is not like most sites where you wait forever to be connected. I was amazed at how quickly I got a response especially for a Saturday. In less than a minute I was connected. The CSR was quite friendly and polite. I let her know I was doing a review. She said “Great” and “Have a great weekend”. I then ended our session.

I was ecstatic to find that the company has a Patagonia Ironclad Guarantee. Wonderful! If you are not satisfied with an Eco friendly product or if the product does not perform to your satisfaction then you can return it for repair, replacement or refund. Damage due to wear and tear is repaired at a reasonable charge.

Gift Cards for Eco Friendly Products

If you are interested in gift cards Patagonia offers any denomination from $10 – $1000. It is the perfect idea for any season or occasion. It’s a great way to support an Eco friendly lifestyle. Traditional gift cards have ship free via USPS 1st-Class Mail. E-mail gift cards are even better; they are delivered free via email within 24 hours.

So, if you are in search of a well-established green company and high quality products, then you have found it. Choose from a collection of Eco friendly products like men and woman’s clothing, nontoxic kid’s and baby apparel, packs and gear including backpacks, duffel bags, laptop bags and more.
